Later this year, we will be bringing daily trains back to Okehampton for the first time in nearly 50 years.
Just like our other community branch lines on the Great Western Network, we’ll be giving the Dartmoor Line its own logo, and we are asking for the local community and schools to share their ideas of what Dartmoor, Okehampton and the local area means to them.
A panel of judges will choose their favourite entries, which will be announced on Great Western Railway’s social media platforms as well as dartmoorline.com later this year.
How to send us your ideas:
Please email GWRSocialMedia@GWR.com by 23 May 2021 with:
- Your entry – along with a brief description [250 words max] of why you chose your idea
- A contact telephone number and home address (if we need to contact you about your idea – all personal data will be destroyed at the end of the logo project)
For further information, please email GWRSocialMedia@GWR.com
Terms and conditions:
Entries are restricted to one per person.
By submitting your entry, you give permission for your entries and your name to appear on @GWRhelp and dartmoorline.com, and winners may be shared with media. But don’t worry – we won’t use your entry for anything else without your permission beforehand.
All personal information submitted by entrants will not be used by Great Western Railway or its partners, except for the purpose of this logo design challenge. All data will be destroyed when the project is completed.
The judging panel will be formed of representatives from Great Western Railway, Network Rail and the Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership.
