Next stage completed at Okehampton Interchange

The next stage of work at Okehampton Interchange has been completed by Network Rail.

25 bored piles were driven 12 metres into the ground to support the new platform, bridge and lift. Most of the work took place overnight with no disruption to trains.

Preparation now continues for the bridge and lift shaft to be lifted into place in the summer.
