Video guide to the upcoming work

Network Rail has produced a video guide (watch below) to explain the work that will be happening during the upcoming closure of the Dartmoor Line (8-14 March). The work is the first major stage in building the new Okehampton Interchange station, which will complement Okehampton’s existing station.

As Network Rail’s Alex Phillips explains: “The primary goal will be to install and complete the track drainage system and reposition the track so it’s suitable for the proposed platform.”

During the closure of the line, buses will replace trains. Find out more on the GWR website.
